The new M-Class 2012 comes with curvier exterior, more power, and better gas mileage ratings. In US, it will be offered in 2 models – Bluetec diesel ML350, and gasoline V-6 350.
The 3.0-L gasoline V6 engine gives a boost in the power ratings from 268hp to 302 hp and the gas mileage rises from 15/20 mpg to 17 mpg city/22 mpg hwy.
The 3.0-L diesel V6 engine too gets 30 hp more power when compared to the current diesel engine. The fuel economy of four-wheel drive ML350 is 20/25 mpg.
Other than the above mentioned engines, it’ll also get 5.5-L gasoline V8, plug-in hybrid, and 4.6-L V8 engine.
